How do I increase the number of background reports allowed per user and for the entire site?
One of your company's Designated Support Contacts (DSCs) must contact Ariba Customer Support to request a change to one of these two parameters:
Parameter Name | Description |
Application.Analysis.MaxNumBgReportsAllowed | Specifies the overall number of background reports allowed in your site. |
Application.Analysis.MaxNumBgReportsAllowedPerUser | Specifies the number of background reports allowed for each user. |
For performance reasons, it is not recommended that you exceed 30 total background reports. The default configuration allows 4 background reports per user and 20 total background reports in your site.
The performance issues you may face could be slowness in the report process, reports stuck in In Process status and sometimes the background is not sent by email.
Users might receive the following error message if they try to schedule a background report that violates the parameter settings:
You cannot schedule a new background report because the total number of scheduled background reports for all users has reached the maximum of [#] allowed. Please contact your site administrator.
