When importing supplier organizations directly or through Import Batch Data, you receive an error saying: "Cannot create new ariba.user.core.Organization with field SystemID equal to <value>. Conflicts with existing object..." followed, later, with a list of organizational elements like networkid, duns, and buyersystemid and their values.
You are attempting to add a common supplier with SystemID = <value> with one or more organizations that are already being used by an existing, active, or inactive common supplier. This most often happens when the already existing common supplier is inactive. When a common supplier with organizational elements is simply inactivated as is, the organizational elements are not automatically deleted. Since uniqueness of organizational values is required, even considering inactive common suppliers, this is a common cause of the previous error message.
Find the existing common supplier causing the conflict and remove the conflict. The following steps assume you want to remove the conflict from the inactive common supplier and leave that common supplier in the inactive state.
