# What is an SAP Business Network ID (ANID), and what is its purpose?

## Symptom

I am not sure exactly what the ANID is and need more information where to find it.

## Resolution

The ANID is the Ariba Network Identification number and it has the format AN00000000000.

It acts as your company's account number in the Ariba system. It is used for a variety of tasks, including:

- Helping SAP Support locate your account.
- Establishing trading relationships with buyers.
- Merging/logging into private accounts.
- Linking accounts.

To see the ANID, follow the steps below:

1. [Sign in to your account](https://supplier.ariba.com/).
2. In the upper-right corner of the application, click \[**user initials**\].
3. Check the ANID under your company name

If you cannot access your account and the registered email address is unavailable, please [reach out to your customer](https://support.ariba.com/item/view/KB0392552). They have your ANID on record and can provide it to you upon request.
