# How to create new user roles

## Symptom

- I need to create different roles within my supplier account
- The users need different permissions allowed in the system

## Resolution

To create a new user role:

1. Sign in to your supplier account
2. Click **Admin Configuration** (gear icon) > **User Role** > **New**
3. Enter a **Name** > select **All Accounts** or **User’s Account** for **View Procurement Data**
   - This can potentially limit visibility in the tool for the users to whom this user role is assigned, to only those client sites that you designate
4. Tick the checkbox for the permissions this role will have access to > **Add**

Once the user role is added, it can be selected on any user’s profile
