How supplier can configure their instance to manage the buyer according to sites
- We manage multiple buyers under one supplier account but I want to give users access to only one buyer
- I need to configure SAP Fieldglass to limit user access to specific buyers or site(s)
- I want to control which users can view and action requests from certain sites
When a supplier instance is created, SAP Fieldglass establishes one default Account that is associated to all buyer sites
You may choose to configure Child Accounts to limit user access to specific buyer/site
A supplier administrator must create additional Accounts (child) and associate them to specific buyer sites
- Sign into your supplier administrator account
- Click Admin Configuration (gear icon) > Account
- Click New > enter a Code, Name, and Description (You can enter the same value for the code and the name)
- Click Add
There will be a warning message at the top of the screen to remind you to associate the new account to Sites and Users
- From the left, click Sites > Add
- Click Filter
- Tick checkboxes for all the Sites the Account can access > click Add
- Update each affected User to have the new Account value
Note: when the buyer adds new Sites, you will need to update Accounts to receive job postings and activities
