# Error: Define error message for Security ID, in case of mismatch

## Symptom

When a supplier or worker user clicks on the **Security ID** field, they receive Error: Define error message for Security ID, in case of mismatch

## Cause

The buyer has not configured instructions and error message for when the Security ID is being entered

## Resolution

Buyer users with the admin configuration permission can configure the error message:

1. Click **Admin Configuration** (gear icon) > **Custom Text**
2. Click **Company Default** > **Edit**
3. Change **Section** filter to **Security ID**
4. Enter the Assigned value for **Define error message for Security ID, in case of mismatch**
5. Click **Update**
