Feature: SAP Ariba Buying Integration with SAP Business Network and SAP Fieldglass Suppliers

Description:

SAP Business Network integrates with SAP Fieldglass by onboarding SAP Fieldglass suppliers onto SAP Business Network and vice versa. Suppliers can switch between applications using single sign-on (SSO).

A new relationship type “Services” has been introduced to SAP Business Network to help Buyers to establish collaboration with Supplier for Services procurement via SAP Fieldglass. Suppliers can use SAP Business Network to view service orders.

Supplier can navigate to SAP Fieldglass to manage Statements of Work (SOW) from SAP Business Network. Suppliers in SAP Business Network view hyperlink to SOW on SAP Business Network, which when clicked can access the statement of work (SOW) document on SAP Fieldglass. From Fieldglass, they can return to SAP Business Network purchase order page.

The business rule for for document exchange between SAP S/HANA Cloud, SAP Fieldglass, and Ariba Network will not be available anymore. Instead, the buyers need to specify the service type in SAP Business Network whether they are using SAP Fieldglass also.

SAP Ariba Buying, which is part of SAP Ariba Procurement solutions uses SAP Fieldglass (restricted access) for service procurement. The buyer cannot onboard a supplier on SAP Fieldglass so, the buyer can leverage the SAP Business Network onboarding feature to onboard and manage suppliers.
