With this feature, you can export reports in SAP Ariba Sourcing in the XLSX format. This feature applies only to reports with the export option.
     
  Allow Adding Suppliers Without Contacts to Guided Sourcing Projects [SOURCE-2520]
This feature allows you to add suppliers who don’t have listed contacts to guided sourcing projects and requests. Previously, suppliers without contacts did not appear in selection fields for guided sourcing projects. Also, you could not select multiple suppliers at one time to add to guided sourcing projects. Now, you can add multiple suppliers at one time, including suppliers who do not have contacts listed. This is in line with classic sourcing functionality.
     
  Guided Sourcing Integration with SAP WalkMe [SOURCE-2530]
Guided sourcing is now integrated with SAP WalkMe. Customers can take advantage of easy-to-understand descriptions and guidance within the guided sourcing user interface offered by SAP WalkMe.

  View Period Quantity Assignments of Line Items on a Graph in Guided Sourcing [PSOURCE-1370]
This feature allows buyers to view the quantity values assigned to each validity period of line items on a graph. Buyers can click on the Quantity term value of a line item to see a bar chart displaying these values for each period.
     
  Ability to Collect Volume Pricing Information for Product Sourcing Materials with Quarterly and Annual Validity Periods [PSOURCE-1372] 
This feature enables buyers to create sourcing events for product sourcing materials having volume data, where they can choose to collect pricing information with either monthly, quarterly, or annual validity periods. The events then display the required quantity for the chosen period, based on the specified validity and recurrence settings.
     
  Purchase Info Record Creation Without Plant-level Information for Line Items Linked to Placeholder Plants in Product Sourcing [PSOURCE-1426]
This feature enhances the capability of purchase info record (PIR) creation for line items in product sourcing that don't have an assigned plant. Now, a PIR can be created for line items with placeholder plants without the need for buyers to copy the contracted price from the placeholder plant to actual plants.

This feature enables buyer administrators to associate the United Kingdom public procurement notices with a public sector event template. Buyers can enter procurement details in the notices associated with the event and publish the notices on the Central Digital Platform (CDP). Suppliers can view the notices on the CDP and the related event details on a public access page. Interested suppliers can invite themselves to participate in the event after registering on Ariba Discovery.
       
  Support for Using Supplier Questionnaire for CDP in Public Sector Events [PSS-304]
This feature enables buyers in the United Kingdom (UK) public sector to add the supplier questionnaire for CDP to a public sector event. It allows suppliers to retrieve the responses that they have provided in the Central Digital Platform (CDP) into the supplier questionnaire for CDP in the sourcing event.
       
  Support for Framework Agreement in Guided Sourcing [PSS-305]
This feature allows buyer users to create a framework agreement in guided sourcing. Buyers can establish an agreement with one or more qualified suppliers for specific items. During the agreement's lifespan, buyers can initiate multiple call-off sourcing projects under the agreement, with predetermined conditions.
       
  Support for TED eForms Version 1.12 Plus [PSS-311]
With this feature, SAP Ariba now supports the public sector portal TED version 1.12 Plus (1.13).

This feature enables category managers to generate read-only PDF versions of strategy and plan documents. This makes it easier to share with stakeholders who don't have access to SAP Ariba Category Management. Stakeholders can review the strategy and plan outside of SAP Ariba Category Management, provide input, follow its direction, and consider it when developing related strategies.
     
  Ability to Assign Predefined User Groups to Category Management Users from SAP Cloud Identity Services [CATMAN-144]
This feature enables you to assign predefined, category management-specific user groups from the Identity Authentication service in SAP Cloud Identity Services to users of SAP Ariba Category Management. 
     
  Ability to Add External Stakeholders in SAP Ariba Category Management [CATMAN-357]
With this new feature, category managers can now add external stakeholders to the Stakeholders Map in SAP Ariba Category Management, even if they aren't added as users in the Identity

This feature improves the toolkit functionality by allowing you to copy, compare, and delete Market Dynamics and Cost Structure tool documents, offering greater flexibility and ease in managing these documents. 
     
  Integration of Spend Data in SAP Ariba Category Management [CATMAN-418]
This feature allows you to integrate spend data into SAP Ariba Category Management using either SAP Spend Control Tower or the spend data sync capability. Choose the appropriate option based on your license. If you have an active SAP Spend Control Tower license, you must use SAP Spend Control Tower for the spend integration. If not, you can use the spend data sync capability instead.
     
  Enhancements to the Initiatives Overview app in SAP Ariba Category Management [CATMAN-471]
This feature allows you to switch between visual and compact filters and save your filtering preferences in the Initiatives Overview app in SAP Ariba Category Management. You can now export initiatives to a spreadsheet for offline data analysis. The enhanced overview enables you to visualize all initiative benefits (estimated benefits, negotiated benefits, and realized benefits) and Baseline Spend in a single view across multiple categories.
     
  Display of Regions and Business Units in Strategy and Plan Documents [ARBCATA-469]

This endpoint retrieves approval history details for strategy and plan documents. The retrieved data can then be used with external reporting tools for comprehensive data analysis.
       
  Upgrade of the Existing Workflow Engine in SAP Ariba Category Management to the SAP Build Process Automation Service [ARBCATA-519]
The workflow engine in SAP Ariba Category Management will be decommissioned with the Q3 2025 release and replaced by the next-generation SAP Build Process Automation Service. This is a technical update with no impact on the user experience. To ensure a seamless transition, all pending workflow tasks, such as approval documents, must be approved, rejected, or withdrawn before the Q3 2025 release.
       
  SAP Ariba Category Management, AI-assisted strategy summarizer [CATMAN-429]
This feature introduces the Generative AI capabilities for generating a summary in the Approval Document in SAP Ariba Category Management. AI-enhanced summaries provide a quick overview, highlighting key points without the need to manually review details across all sections of the approval documents. Category managers can refine these summaries and send them for approval, improving decision-making. Additionally, you can now regenerate category strategy details recommendations when the data in the strategy and plan tools is updated.

You can view unmapped UNSPSC codes and map them to your custom code taxonomy on the Unmapped UNSPSC Categories tab in the Manage Spend Taxonomy tile. While category mapping is in progress, you can't create any new mappings until the previous mapping completes.
     
  Currency Rate selection and conversion [ARBTS-226] 
SAP Spend Control Tower now automatically converts invoice amounts to your defined reporting currency, ensuring consistency across reports and dashboards. This simplifies financial analysis by using conversion rates closest to the invoice posting date, accommodating multiple currencies from flat files and supported SAP systems.

  Support for Using Virtual Cards to Pay Suppliers [PROC-977]
This feature allows buyers to pay suppliers with single-use virtual cards. The card provider generates a virtual card per purchase order and sends the card details to the supplier. The supplier uses the virtual card to receive payment from the buyer's bank. Then, the buyer's account is charged. After reconciling the amount against the purchase order in the SAP Ariba buying solution, the buyer updates the details to the buyer’s ERP system.
     
  Support for Ad Hoc Vendors for Non-Catalog Items in Virtual Card Orders [PROC-986]
With this feature, buyers can create virtual card orders to procure non-catalog items from ad hoc vendors. Ad hoc vendors are suppliers added to SAP Ariba Buying and SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing on an as-needed basis without needing to onboard them. Ad hoc vendors receive virtual card details on the email address of their vendor location. They can charge the virtual card to accept payment for the non-catalog items they sell to buyers.

  Support for Classification of Hazardous Materials [GUIDEB-1082]
With this feature, you can identify which types hazardous materials are present in items according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. Previously, you could only find whether or not items contained hazardous materials, but you couldn't find which type of hazardous materials were present. Now, items with hazardous materials display the different symbols and codes for the types of hazardous materials present.
     
  Support for Ad Hoc Vendors on Non-Catalog Requests [GUIDEB-1209]
With this feature, users can submit non-catalog requests using ad hoc vendors in guided buying. Ad hoc vendors are suppliers added to your SAP Ariba Buying solution on an as-needed basis, without needing to complete the onboarding process in SAP Ariba Supplier Management. When users create a non-catalog request in guided buying, they can choose from the ad hoc vendors available.
     
  Guided Buying Integration with SAP WalkMe [GUIDEB-1250]
