Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: What components are SAP Ariba ending support for?
A: SAP Ariba is ending support for Ariba Cloud Integration (CI), SAP Business Suite Add-on 1.0 for Ariba Network, and SAP Ariba Integration Toolkit (ITK). End of support will be effective as of December 31, 2023 to align with SAP’s cloud strategy.

A: Only critical security issues will be addressed between now and December 31, 2023. There will be no planned releases for new features.
- Q: Why is SAP ending support for these legacy integration components?
A: SAP's strategy is moving towards cloud-based integration services, that provide easier browser access, quicker upgrades (without the need of lengthy change management processes), and faster deployments. And by providing a single integration pathway for all SAP Ariba cloud solutions, it helps buyers realize a lower total cost of ownership and faster return on investment. See alternative options in the sections below.
- Q: When will end of support come in effect?
A: All support and maintenance will end as of December 31, 2023. After this date, there will be no new features or bug fixes provided, and there will be no enhancements for security or compliance to the latest standards.
- Q: How can I determine whether this impacts my company?
A: You will need to know what type of solution you are using and what version. Your company’s Designated Support Contacts (DSCs) should contact their SAP Ariba representative for additional details.
- Q: Can I continue to use the solutions after December 31, 2023?
A: Yes, they can still be used after end of support. However, SAP will not be able to provide any fixes for issues that arise after this date. We strongly recommend you implement one of the alternative options listed below to avoid any potential security vulnerabilities or issues.
- Q: What is SAP’s recommendation for migrating off these legacy integration components before December 31, 2023?
