SAP Ariba Readiness Feature Preview - Ability to Access Process Creation Status When a Process is Created for One or More Suppliers at a Time
Customers can create qualification and miscellaneous processes for one or more suppliers at a time to evaluate them for a specific combination of commodities, regions, and departments based on information in modular questionnaires. This feature provides status information on whether a process created by customers for one or more suppliers has succeeded, failed, or is in some other status.
After customers have sent a process to one or more of their suppliers, customers can obtain the status through various methods:
- Through the user interface: This feature introduces a page that displays a list of all the processes that have been sent to one or more suppliers. This page displays the corresponding job statuses. When customers attempt to create a process for multiple suppliers at a time, a background job is automatically created. The status of the background jobs is displayed on this page in real time.
- By using a new API endpoint: This feature introduces an endpoint in the Supplier Data API with Pagination and gives customers the ability to fetch the status of process creation from an external system. As a result, customers can now access this information from an external system and are no longer required to log in to SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance.
- By receiving an email from SAP Ariba: The user that initiated the process receives an email after the background job is completed. Customer administrators can personalize this new email template.
