This feature introduces support for replicating project controlling object (WBS elements) master data into SAP Ariba applications from SAP S/4HANA Cloud using SAP Master Data Integration. In this release, support is available for the WBS elements (WBSElement v3.0.0) master data object. In addition, this release also upgrades the support for the Cost Center master data object to a higher version (CostCenter v3.0.0).
Currently, customers do not have a uniform approach to pull master data from SAP S/4HANA systems into SAP Ariba.
Pulling all master data entities from MDI (Master Data Integration) is the NorthStar for both MDS (Master Data Service) and MDCS (Master Data Consumption Service). This feature is to support CostCenter and WBSElement (Work Breakdown Structure Element) master data entities via MDI into both MDS and MDCS.

The Company Code related to the Cost Center or WBS elements must be available in the SAP Ariba Buying solution before setting up the replication of these master data. The Company Code must be imported through SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network.
