This feature automatically synchronizes supplier ACM IDs set as default values in generic custom fields to the integrated SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA system as part of integration messages. Previously, with suppliers created from data imports or replication from the ERP system, integration messages for updates in SAP Ariba didn't include the ACM ID, and it was necessary to manually add it to the supplier record in the ERP system.
ACM IDs are not passed from SLP to the backend when:
- the supplier data is imported via CSV.
- the supplier is created in MDG and replicates to SLP.
This causes a break in the integration.
This feature includes functionality to send ACM IDs from SLP to the backend when the supplier data is either imported via CSV or created in MDG and replicated to SLP.

For SAP Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management, this feature requires the "new architecture."
To enable this feature, a customer administrator must enable the Application.SM.Vendor.SyncAcmIdToERP self-service configuration parameter in SM Administration >Configuration Parameters.
To set configuration parameters and import default properties in SM Administration, you must be a member of the SM Ops Administrator group.
Your site must use custom fields to store supplier ACM IDs through an imported default properties configuration where a generic custom field such as vendor.supplierGenericCustomField.ZS4ID is set to $(vendor.vendorInfo.s4OrgSystemId).
The integrated ERP system must have a custom implementation for the corresponding custom field.
Use of custom fields with supplier data integration is not generally supported and can only be undertaken with advice and approval from SAP Ariba.
