Feature Description

This feature enables buyers using the Central Procurement with SAP Ariba Sourcing (4QN) and Sourcing with SAP Ariba Sourcing (4BL) integration scenarios to view, approve, and act on sourcing requests in guided sourcing.

Customer Problem

The new guided sourcing user interface is very intuitive and has improved efficiency in managing sourcing projects. However, customers using sourcing integration scenarios could only use the older interface which was preventing customers from taking advantage of the new guided sourcing experience.

This feature is supported in the classic SAP Ariba Sourcing user interface and the guided sourcing user interface. To use this feature in the guided sourcing user interface, your site must have guided sourcing enabled and you must be a member of the Category Buyer group.
The Enable guided sourcing integration in 4BL and 4QN integration scenarios for SAP S/4HANA Cloud parameter must be enabled in the Intelligent Configuration Manager.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud supports this feature for the following integration scenarios:
- 4QN solution scope item for operational procurement (Sourcing with SAP Ariba Sourcing (4QN) via SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network).
