Why don't I see the option to force complete a task?
The Force Complete Task option may be missing from a task for any of the following reasons:
- You're not a member of the system group Customer Task Administrator. You must be a member of this group to see the option to force complete a task.
- The option to force complete a task appears only in contract and sourcing workspaces and isn't available for tasks in any other project types.
- The task you're trying to complete is already in completed status, so you should restart it to see the option. Tasks in the following statuses are considered complete by the system and don't show the Force Complete Task option:
- Cancelled
- Reviewed
- Approved
- Signed
- Withdrawn
- Denied
- Completed
Withdrawn and Denied are not tasks statuses that would allow a workspace to be Published. If you need to force complete a task in one of these statuses, create a New Round of the task, then force complete the task.
