With this feature, discount information in work orders and statements of work (SOWs) imported from SAP Fieldglass is supported and processed in the associated purchase requisitions and purchase orders in the SAP Ariba solution. Discount Amount and Discount Percentage field values can be imported and displayed in the associated purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Customers need to represent a price discount against specific statement of work costs related to worker roles (line items) applied against the total cost. Once approved, they would like this visibility carried forward to the purchase requisition/ purchase order in SAP Ariba to illustrate the total landed cost with the discount savings included. Furthermore, the budget should not exceed the total amount (regardless of the discount applied).

Discounts provided in SAP Fieldglass statements of work would be visible in the SAP Ariba purchase requisitions enabling buyers to control their spend.
