Ability to import requisitions with attachments using web services
CP-16368
This feature enables the import of requisitions that contain header-level or line-level attachments using web services.
Customers were not able to send attachments associated with a requisition to SAP Ariba. This discouraged customers from using SAP Ariba as a central system for all their requisitions.
SAP Ariba Buying will be able to accept requisitions that include attachments from external systems, meaning important documents related to the requisition from 3rd party systems will now be supported. Therefore, SAP Ariba can be used as a central system for all requisitions created in boundary systems.

Your administrator must enable the following parameters:
- Enable attachment support in data import web services (Application.Messaging.Channels.WS.SupportAttachmentsInWSImports). The default value of this parameter is set to No. Please log a case with SAP Ariba to have this parameter enabled.
- Import requisitions with attachments using web services (Application.Procure.ImportRequisitionsWithAttachmentsUsingWebServices).
- Import requisitions using OriginatingSystemLineNumber with attachments using web service. This parameter is self-service. (Application.Procure.ImportRequisitionsUsingOSLNWithAttachmentsUsingWebServices). This parameter must be enabled if you plan to use the OriginatingSystemLineNumber while importing requisitions with attachments. This parameter is self-service.
- A member of the Integration Admin group must review and accept the data definition changes for this feature.
Note: Disabling the feature after accepting the data definition changes will cause requisition import failures. You must revert the data definition changes manually.
- You can't import requisitions with attachments using web services if your site is integrated to your external ERP using SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network.
- When the feature is enabled for your site, the fields related to attachments are visible when you import requisitions using CSV or Excel files. Even though the fields are visible, you can't import requisitions with attachments using CSV or Excel files.
- Currently, you can't import requisitions if both the CDN-10259: Renumber NumberInCollection based on OriginatingSystemLineNumber feature, and the feature for adding taxes, charges, and discounts to line items (Application.Procure.EnableTaxesChargesAndDiscount) parameter are enabled for your site. This restriction also applies to importing requisitions with attachments.
- If the CDN-10259: Renumber NumberInCollection based on OriginatingSystemLineNumber feature is enabled for your site, you can use only the OriginatingSystemLineNumber while importing requisitions with attachments. You can't use NumberInCollection.
