Feature Description

Guided sourcing now supports basket lots in RFI, RFP, and auction events. There are two types of basket lots: Basket and Basket with No Items.

Customer Problem

Buyers cannot create and use basket lots in guided sourcing. This prevents buyers from collecting supplier data at the lot level.

Customer Value Proposition

With this feature, buyers can now use basket lots within guided sourcing. This gives buyers more flexibility to collect bids at the lot level in different events.

Prerequisites

This feature is supported only in the guided sourcing user interface.

Note: this feature adds support in guided sourcing for basket lots. The SAP Ariba Sourcing classic user interface also supports basket lots; refer to Event lots and line items.

To use the guided sourcing user interface, your site must have guided sourcing enabled and you must be a member of the Category Buyer group.
