This feature enhances the integration of dynamic discounting between SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA and Ariba Network using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway by supporting:
• The DISCOUNT_BASE_WITH_NO_TAX parameter to exclude the tax amount from the discount base amount in payment proposal requests.
• The new element DiscountPercent in the Payment Proposal request cXML file.
• The integration of the discount percent calculation adjusted to a precision of three decimal places in Ariba Network.

As part of discount management collaboration between ERP buyers and trading partners, some countries regulate to exclude tax amount from discount base amount. However, buyers did not have an option to exclude tax amount from the discount base amount at the company code level. In addition, early payment discount percent never matched between ERP and Ariba Network.

A buyer will be able to exclude the tax amount from discount calculations and comply with a country's tax regulations. The discount percent always matches between Ariba Network and SAP.
