This feature expands the guided sourcing user experience to include full sourcing projects. In addition to individual sourcing events, buyers can now use guided sourcing to create sourcing projects that support additional features, including task management, document storage, and document versioning.

Full projects are not yet supported in guided sourcing. Many customers require this functionality to make the move to guided sourcing.
With the capability to use full projects in guided sourcing, many more customers will be able to make the switch to the new user experience.

This feature is supported only in the guided sourcing user interface. It adds support in guided sourcing for full sourcing projects. For more on creating full sourcing projects in the classic SAP Ariba Sourcing user interface, see About creating sourcing projects and requests.
To use the guided sourcing user interface, your site must have guided sourcing enabled and you must be a member of the Category Buyer system group.
To create single-event projects using guided sourcing, you must have sourcing event templates with the Guided Sourcing Template property set to Yes.
To create guided sourcing full projects that use all available features, you must configure your full sourcing project template's insight tile settings and reusable event template documents.
SAP Ariba recommends that you use one of the following browsers to access guided sourcing:
- Apple Safari (64-bit)
- Google Chrome (64-bit)
- Microsoft Edge (32-bit)
- Mozilla Firefox (64-bit)
