Why Master Data program does not fetch any record when executed in Incremental Load (e.g. for Material Master, Supplier, Cost Center, etc) in SAP ERP or S/4 HANA, or the modifications are not being fetched as expected even though changes were made to the records?
It is necessary to configure the Ariba event linkages and the Ariba master data incremental field restrictions which are used to identify and save the changes made to the records so those can be fetched when the ARBCIG_MASTER_DATA_EXPORT program is executed in Incremental Load.
If the changes are being fetched but are not working as expected (e.g. when a only a specific change does not trigger the correct event) check if the field restrictions are maintained in SWEC t-code as per the restrictions given in SPRO transactions (all fields needs to match, the Expression 1, Expression 2, Relational Operator and Logical Operator), details in the link provided above.
Note that missing or incorrect configuration in the event linkages and/or field restrictions is the most common cause when the Master Data program does not fetch the changes, but all the configurations from Working with master data section of SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network guide must be reviewed and configured to ensure that the program will work successfully.
