In the Ariba Network user interface, this feature adds a customer reference to the details page of an order or release.
An ERP buyer wishes to share additional customer-reference information with their supplier through Ariba Network. The buyer might do this in their originating system, but still needs this information displayed to the supplier in the Ariba Network user interface.
Both suppliers and buyers benefit by being able to view customer-reference information at a glance on the details page of a purchase order, scheduling agreement, or scheduling agreement release.
