You can now create announcements for guided buying users, which allows you to broadcast any business or technical news, such as upcoming maintenance, new suppliers, or changes to your procurement policies.
No announcements capability exists in the guided buying landing page by-design today. Some customers are using workarounds such as changing the header images or creating a temporary tile for this purpose. These workarounds are not elegant solutions and do not provide the flexibility that the customers would like to have. Most customers do not know about these workarounds as they are not documented and not communicated to them.
Announcements in guided buying allows customers' procurement department to communicate changes and news such as procurement policy changes, system downtime, etc. targeted to their end-users.
