Can I disable the feature GB-15131 - Team buying and receiving in my guided buying realm?

The Team buying and receiving feature has been enabled for all customers with the May 2021 monthly release.

The splash notification that end users will see upon first login after the May 2021 release cannot be turned off either. This page is shown only once and will not pop up on subsequent logins.

If customers don't plan on using the feature or they would like to restrict end users from being able to create and mange teams, follow these steps:

1. On the guided buying home page, click Admin.
2. In the Parameters section, click Manage parameters.
3. Find PARAM_DISABLE_USER_TEAM_MANAGEMENT, click Change value next to the parameter, and set one of the following values:

true - Disables user control of teams for team buying and receiving. Removes controls for team creation, management, and membership from the Manage your teams page. The Buy with a team quick link will still be visible to end users in UI.

false - (Default) Enables user control of teams for team buying and receiving. Displays controls for team creation, management, and membership in the Manage your teams page.

You can disable all team buying and receiving functions by setting PARAM_ENABLE_TEAM_BUYING to false.

Setting PARAM_DISABLE_USER_TEAM_MANAGEMENT to true will still allow admins to control team creation and management via Admin > Manage teams.
