Symptom

Why the attachment from an IDOC isn't being sent when reprocessed on ERP via BD87?

Why the attachment from a failed invoice (ARBCIG_INVOIC) isn't being sent when reprocessed on ERP via BD87 ?

Why the attachment go missing intermittently for few of the invoices ?

Resolution

Please follow below steps to resolve issue only if you are using Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Addon SP11 and above:

Go to tcode SWE2 and add following event type linkage:

Object Category: BOR Object
ObjectType: IDOCINVOIC
Event: INPUTSUCCESS
Receiver Type: ARBCIG_INVOIC
Receiver Call: Method

Class Name: CL_ARBCIG_INB_IDOC_SUCS_EVENT

Interface Name: BI_EVENT_HANDLER_STATIC

Method Name: ON_EVENT

Event delivery: Using tRFC (Default)

Behavior Upon Error Feedback: 0 System defaults

Receiver Status: 0 No errors

The Change View Event Type Linkages”: Details window appears.

Check Linkage Activated.
Save the changes.

in tcode WE42 > for process code INVL maintain following. You would need to Click on Arrow button (ALE table) next to IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM to see the page

End Event: MASSINPUTFINISHED

IDoc
Object Type: IDOCINVOIC

Additional Information

If you have existing entry in swe2 for ARBCIG_INVOIC receiver type as MASSINPUTFINISHED Event of Object IDPKINVOIC, please remove and add INPUTSUCCESS event of object IDOCINVOIC as mentioned above.
