The customer is facing the below error when creating new connection in SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network:

The connection name that you are trying to create already exist
Please assign a new connection name in order to overcome this error. If you still are having issues, please contact Ariba Support with the error code below.

The CIG-POR-00053 error returns when creating a new connection with the same System ID from an existing connection in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network. It is not possible since the System ID is unique for Managed Gateway for Spend&Network connection.

It's only possible to have one System ID per Managed Gateway for Spend&Network connection. In order to solve it, there are two options:

• Use the existing connection with this unique System ID
• Edit the existing connection
