Messages sent from CIG to PI failed with below parsing error in Sender SOAP PI Adapter in my SAP PI system:
Error: Error during parsing the received XMB message.

SOAP: Error occurred: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.srt.BubbleException: SOAP:ClientError during parsing of SOAP headerhttp://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30XIProtocolError while preparsing SOAP:Header - XML document not well-formed{}2-System error in parser [null "null"]
Please use the following workaround in your SAP PI system:
The above workaround deactivates the DSR Passport functionality in your SAP PI system. Switching off DSR Passports management in your PI does not affect PI message processing or functionality anyhow. This is a monitoring functionality that might affect some external monitoring tools, like FRun or SolMan, relying on it.
Please refer to SAP KBA SOAP:ClientError during parsing of SOAP header for Ariba interface and SAP Note SAP Passports in PI - memory and functional improvements for further reference.
The root cause is found to be a defect in the SAP Library that is used for initializing SAP Passport headers sent from Ariba Network (AN). Until that is resolved, we have disabled the initialization of SAP Passports when the document is originated from AN as part of January 2021 Hot fix.
If you need any further clarification on the workaround on SAP PI side, please raise an SAP OSS incident under BC-XI-CON-SOP component. Steps on how to create an SAP OSS incident are detailed in FAQ How do I create an SAP OSS incident?
