Why doesn't my supplier receive an award notification from Guided buying?
Question

Why doesn't my supplier receive an award notification from Guided buying?

Answer

In a tactical sourcing event which is initiated and awarded from Guided Buying, no notification will be sent, as Guided Buying itself does not send notifications. Instead, any notifications would be sent from the components to which Guided Buying is linked.

The specific flow for the event depends on the touch policy defined within Guided Buying.

Self-Service: The award takes place in Guided Buying itself. No notification will be sent.

Low-touch: The award takes place in Guided Buying itself. No notification will be sent.

High-touch: The award must be done in Sourcing, and would be sent depending on the project owner's preferences and template setup.

In both the Self-Service and Low-touch scenarios, the approved Purchase Order acts as the a notification of awarded business.
