The administrator for your Ariba Network account and other users with appropriate permission can specify the retention period for transaction documents. If you choose to opt in for data deletion, any transaction documents older than the retention period are subject to deletion every month. This includes transaction documents and any associated attachments. If you choose to not opt in for data deletion, documents aren’t deleted.

Historically the Ariba Network does not delete the transaction data of customers (buyers and suppliers), which as standards evolve may not satisfy their country-specific regulatory needs or business requirements within their organizations.

Customers may now opt in to a transaction data deletion process on the Ariba Network and specify the retention period appropriate for their regulatory or process needs.
