How do I download the Root, Intermediate and SSL (Leaf) certificates from any given certificate used in Ariba Integrations?

How do I download the certificate chain for an Ariba provided certificate?

An Ariba provided certificate usually has three parts in the Certification Path as explained below in same sequence from top to bottom which contributes to the certificate chain:

• Root Certificate.
• Intermediate Certificate.
• SSL Certificate (Leaf).

Steps to download a Root Certificate from certificate chain are outlined below:

• Double click on the Root Certificate from Certification Path.
• It opens a new window.
• On this new window, click Details > Copy to File > Next > Select default radio button DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER) > Next > Enter File name: (on Desktop location where you wish to save this cert) > Next > Finish.
• The export was successful window appears.
• Click OK.

Next, repeat the above steps by double clicking on the Intermediate Certificate from Certification Path to download it. 

To download the SSL (Leaf) Certificate, follow below steps:

• Select (need not double click) the Leaf Certificate from Certification Path.
• On the same window, click Details > Copy to File > Next > Select default radio button DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER) > Next > Enter File name: (on Desktop location where you wish to save this cert) > Next > Finish.
• The export was successful window appears.
• Click OK.
