For SAP Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management, this feature requires the “new architecture".

You should be a member of the Template creator group to add description to a question in supplier management questionnaire template. You should be a member of Translator group to enter description translation.

Restrictions

This feature is available only in the new supplier management user interface.

The description field has a maximum limit of 1024 characters and rich text format is not supported.
