How can I delete a supplier in Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP)?

You cannot delete a supplier in SLP, you can only deactivate the supplier record. Inactive suppliers are not deleted from the database, but flagged in the UI as inactive, and are no longer editable or appear in searches.

To deactivate a supplier, follow the below steps as an administrator user:

1. Navigate to Manage > SM Administration > Data import or export.
2. Select the file type Suppliers.
3. Click Export and save the file.
   
4. Edit the file to keep only the supplier records that need to be deactivated and set the value under column active as FALSE.
5. Click Choose File and select the file you prepared in the above step.
6. Click Upload.

Once the import has successfully completed, the supplier will be marked as inactive.

Additional Information

You can also check inactive suppliers by going to Manage > SM Administration > Inactive Suppliers and searching by SM ID.
