Can I use certificate-type questions in the registration questionnaire?

Modular supplier management questionnaire projects are designed to collect supplier certificate information in dedicated, standalone projects with their own approval flows. Certificates collected in these projects display on the Certificate tab of the supplier's 360° profile.

• You can still use certificate type questions in the Registration Questionnaire to collect certificate-related information, but this is not the best practice: the best way to collect certificate info is to use Modular Questionnaires.
• Also, using certificates in registration documents could lead to issues where duplicate certificate types show up in the certificate filter, in the Supplier Management search. Please keep this in mind.

• SAP Ariba recommends using modular questionnaires for managing supplier certificates. You can include certificate questions in internal supplier request project templates, but respondents are able to answer Yes without providing details about the certificate. Modular questionnaires require details about a certificate if the respondent answers Yes.
