  New look for the header banner and navigation elements in SAP Ariba solutions [PL-21134]
The header banner and navigation elements in SAP Ariba solutions have a new look that is based on SAP Fiori 3.0 standards. This enhancement enables SAP Ariba solutions to adopt SAPs consistent user experience guidelines based on SAP Fiori. It is a first step toward fuller adoption of SAPs Intelligent Enterprise Suite guidelines.

  Ability to go back to previous page from an SAP Ariba analytical report [ARE-4514]
User interface pages related to SAP Ariba analytical reporting now include a back button, which returns the browser to the previous page.

  SAP S/4HANA Cloud RFQ integration with SAP Ariba Sourcing [DMS-9273]
Ability to directly send an RFQ from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to SAP Ariba Sourcing where a sourcing request is created, and then send back award information from SAP Ariba Sourcing to SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

  Supplier ID included in supplier selection lists [SS-12161]
This feature includes supplier IDs when you select suppliers from dropdowns. This information is useful if your supplier list includes multiple suppliers with the same supplier name, but different supplier IDs.

  Provide event change information to approvers before republishing an event [SS-12890]
This feature provides approvers for an Approval for Publish task a draft view of changes made to a published event before each version is approved again for publish. In addition, notifications sent to Approval For Publish email approvers include a document with a summary of draft event changes. Customer administrators can configure a site to send the summary document to Approve for Publish approvers when email approvals are not enabled.  Summary information about event changes are also included in External Approval API for Sourcing and Supplier Management responses.

  Japanese auction enhancements [SS-13655]
This feature provides several enhancements to Japanese auctions, including improvements to notifications and messaging and the ability to require suppliers to bid on an item.

  Configurable bid comparison report [SS-13772]
This feature allows buyers to run a bid comparison report after bidding has ended in a sourcing event. Buyers can configure the report to include only the information that is useful to them when they are deciding which suppliers should receive an award.

  Bid spreadsheet formatting improvements [SSR-1127]
This feature provides improvements to bid spreadsheet formatting in SAP Ariba Sourcing.

  Header fields and attachments integration for quick sourcing from requisitions [CP-12568]
This capability enables sending requisition header fields when buyers create requisitions and initiate quick sourcing for those requisitions. The fields include header-level custom fields and attachments from the requisition.

  Support for pricing conditions as standard fields in purchase orders and outline agreements [DMS-10886]
This feature introduces an intrinsic element in the cXML documents to enable the integration of pricing conditions in purchase orders and outline agreements between SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite and SAP ERP through SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. The newly-added intrinsic element enables the use of pricing conditions as standard fields in purchase orders and outline agreements in SAP ERP without any additional customization in SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway.

  Request and check for attachments in suppliers' email responses to message board topics in a full sourcing project [SS-17851]
This feature allows buyers to indicate that an attachment is expected in supplier response emails for a specific message board topic in a full sourcing project. If the attachment is missing in the supplier response emails for that message board topic, SAP Ariba Contracts sends an email notification to the suppliers.

  Alternative pricing bids for service items and lots [SS-11503]
Enables participants to submit alternative pricing bids for service items (service lines and service specifications) and lots.

  Multiple currencies in alternative bids for service items and lots [SS-12731]
This feature enables participants to select bid currencies when submitting alternative pricing bids for service items (service lines and service specifications) and lots.

  Search for suppliers by ID [SS-12960]
This feature lets buyers search for suppliers by Supplier ID in the Mass Edit Projects utility and in supplier savings forms. Searching for suppliers by ID rather than by name can be useful if your supplier list includes multiple suppliers with the same supplier name, but different supplier IDs.

  Envelope bidding with alternative bids for lots and service items [SS-13565]
The envelope feature in RFI and RFP events is enhanced so that participants' alternative responses for lots and service items are visible when the envelope is opened.

  Include alternative pricing bids when bids are ranked [SS-13671]
Buyers can now include alternative bids along with primary bids in bid ranking, making it easier to compare bids when an event includes alternative bids.

  Collect user experience feedback on creating events [SS-14071]
This feature allows buyers to rate the usability of creating a sourcing event and add comments about their experience so that SAP Ariba can improve future sourcing products.

  Set access control for editing sourcing event content [SS-14527]
This feature allows access control lists to be set for sourcing events to allow only authorized users to edit the sourcing event content and supplier lists.

  Enhancements to email bidding to support Excel file-based bidding [SS-15449]
Enhancements to the email bidding feature enable buyers to create RFP and RFI events where the bid sheet is sent to suppliers as an Excel file attached to the event invitation email. This enhancement enables the suppliers to enter their response to the event in the Excel file and submit their response as an email attachment without logging on to the Ariba portal.

  Multi-select enhancement for plant matrix terms [SSR-835]
This feature allows users to select multiple plants in a single action when adding them as matrix factors for a plant matrix term.

  Allow supplier to change currency after bidding on a sourcing event [SSR-837]
Allows suppliers to change the bid currency after submitting an initial bid for a sourcing event.

  Consolidate event responses from suppliers invited by team members [SS-13411]
This feature allows buying organizations of the buyer to set up sourcing events in such a way that the team members of the buyer can invite their own suppliers to participate in the event.  Upon completion of the sourcing event, the buyer can consolidate responses from suppliers invited by all the team members.

  Smart import from unstructured Excel files to create line items for RFP events [SS-13646]
The smart import from unstructured Excel file feature enables buyers using SAP Ariba Sourcing to populate line items for an RFP event from data that does not conform to any predefined SAP Ariba format. SAP Ariba Sourcing interprets the data from the unstructured Excel file and maps that to various fields based on the global settings or template settings. Buyers can review and revise the mappings before the data import is finalized.

  Ability to add an approval task for team grading in events [SS-15084]
This feature introduces a team grading approval task, Approval for Team Grading, which enables buyers to assign a grade approver to review the grades submitted by team graders for supplier responses. A grade approver can either approve or deny the grades submitted by team graders.

  Support for separate envelopes for primary and alternative bids [SS-15693]
This feature ensures the primary and alternative bids are contained in separate envelopes enabling the team members to evaluate the responses separately.

  Enhancements to Excel-file-based email bidding [SS-16570]
This feature introduces various enhancements to the Excel-file-based email bidding feature to improve the user experience. The key enhancements include:

* Support for event prerequisites 
* Bidder agreement as an attachment to the event invitation email
* Option for suppliers to opt out of an event and further notifications related to the event by declining the event invitation
* Response team-related email enhancements such as localized emails, names of response team members in the invitation email, notification about new members in a response team, and improved handling of success and failure messages for bid submission

This feature allows you to search for participants from past events and invite them to sourcing events.

  Bulk edit of sourcing event and CLID line item terms [SSR-832]
This feature allows you to edit terms that are common to multiple line items in a sourcing event or CLID in a single action.

  Support for Thai language in SAP Ariba cloud solutions [SINV-9683]
Thai language support in all SAP Ariba cloud solutions is now available. You can now navigate through all SAP Ariba cloud solutions with Thai set as the preferred language, and SAP Ariba administrators can upload translations for Thai language.

Guided sourcing provides a new user experience to streamline the creation, monitoring, and awarding of RFI and RFP sourcing events.

  SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app 2.0 [BMA-1181]
SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app 2.0 introduces the following:

- Redesigned user interface based on SAP Fiori.
- Support to manage and complete tasks for SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing solutions users.
- Push notifications related to tasks.

  Ability to view an event as a participant after the event is published [DMS-12166]
This feature now allows sourcing users to view an event as a participant even during open and pending selection states.

  Support for creating scheduling agreements from SAP Ariba Sourcing [DMS-12542]
This feature allows buyers to create scheduling agreements into SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA from the RFx awards in SAP Ariba Sourcing. Buyers can now select the new document type, Scheduling Agreement, in the RFx sourcing event of SAP Ariba Sourcing to create scheduling agreements in SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.

  Support for multiple ERP systems linked to the central procurement hub in Contract for Central Procurement with SAP Ariba Contracts (4B0) [SC-11435]
This feature enables the buyers on SAP Ariba Contracts using the Contract for Central Procurement with SAP Ariba Contracts (‏4B0‏) scope item to do the following when they are configuring external systems:


- Designate an SAP S/4HANA Cloud system as a central procurement hub. The central procurement hub is considered as the parent system. The parent system is linked to more than one external system. 
- Assign an SAP S/4HANA Cloud system configured as a central procurement hub as the parent to an ERP-system (SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, or SAP S/4HANA On-premise) configured as an external system.
