Local catalog images are not appearing in the user interface.

To load Local Images in a Catalog, check the steps below:

1. Put all the images files in a folder and zip it.
2. List the images' filenames in the image and/or thumbnail field of the catalog file.
3. When loading a local Catalog in Catalog Manager, you will see a label below Catalog File with the name: Optional Image file.
4. Attach the Zip file you have created in this label.
5. Import the catalog.

Filenames must contain the folder name and the filename and image name must match exactly.

Example:

Zip File Name: CatalogsImages

Folder name: Catalog_test

Image file name: Image1.jpg

The Image and Thumbnail field in the catalog file should be used as: Catalog_test/Image1.jpg

For each catalog item associated with an image, filenames are specified in the fields Image and Thumbnail. Each catalog item can be associated with only:

• Thumbnail image;
• Only a full-size image;
• Both;

Images must be in JPEG/JPG, GIF, PNG, or BMP format.

Here is a list of common configuration issues that cause local issues to not load:

• The filename does not end with a valid image extension.
• The filename and the image file do not match exactly.
• The folder name is not added in the image and/or thumbnail field.
• The image file has not been provided.
• The filename contains special characters (such as ä or ü), which are not allowed.
