How do I change e-mail ID and password for P user on SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network or Managed Gateway for Sped&Network?
What is the behavior of the Change Password and e-mail ID on Managed Gateway for Spend&Network for P users?
Follow below steps to change the e-mail or password on the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network for P user:
- Sign in to CIG from Ariba Application
- Click My configurations
- Click Authorization
- Click Change Password/Change Email based on your requirement
You may Sign in to CIG from Ariba Applications
- For SAP Business Network Supplier from Order Routing
- For SAP Business Network Buyer from [User Initials] > Manage Profile > SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network Setup
- For Ariba Buying & Invoicing from Core Administration > Integration Manager > SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network
- For Ariba Sourcing from Administration > Integration Manager > SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network
Note: Login with the user for which Email needs to be reflected in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network and click Change Email. If you are already live in production or in the middle of testing and changed the P-user password in the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network portal, make user you update the new password to all the interfaces that are connecting to CIG.
Only for Buyers: Once you update the p-user password, please update the new password in the SM59 interface in your ERP (for IDOC) and run the interfaces setup program from SPRO > Integration with other SAP Components > SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network > Choose Product (SAP Business Network/Ariba Procurement Integration/Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite Integration) > General Settings > Set up interface > Configure setup interface to send messages > Select All the Outbound Interfaces and execute the report.
This will update the P-user password in all the SOAMANGER interfaces automatically. Please check with your Ariba Integration or SAP Basis consultant to perform this activity.
ATTENTION: There is no need to reset the password in certain period of time.
