When we create a Quality Notification (QN) with custom QN code, the document is failing in SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network with below error:

“SAP Business Network Response is :"Bad Request" and Error Code:"400" and Error Code Response: "Error: Quality Notification document contains invalid QNCode[domain='type'] with codeGroup='Z1' and code='Z1'. Please contact support with the Error Reference Number: ANERR-80000000000000001759364822 for more details. Suggested Action : Document Failed in SAP Business Network.For further assistance, please contact Ariba Support with the code mentioned in Response.Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Support Error Code : CIG-PLT-00644”

Even though the QN code was loaded it was not enabled, hence AN was not allowing the QN document to be processed.

Even though the QN Code exists in Ariba, it is not enabled. Follow steps bellow to enable it:

1. Log in to buyer SAP Business Network account
2. Go to Quality tab
3. Click on the settings icon on the top right corner
4. Check mark next to QN code should be checked
