How do I add a user to the Project Owner group of a full project template using the Team Member Rules file?

Answer

To add a user to the Project Owner group of a full project template using the Team Member Rules file, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Manage > Templates
  2. Open the template you wish to update
  3. Click Actions > New Version
  4. On the Team tab click Actions > Download Template.

Open the Team Member Rules file and use the following as a guide:

Navigate back to the template in your browser:

  1. From the Documents tab, click Actions > Upload Team Member Rules
  2. Locate the file you created and upload it.
  3. Click the Team Member Rules file and click Publish (this validates the file and alerts you of any problems).
  4. Navigate to the Overview tab and click Actions > Publish.

Now when you create new full sourcing projects, the user specified in the team member rules will be automatically added to the Project Owner group.

TMR can only used in full sourcing projects.
