Migration Strategy |

| |
The SAP Ariba transition to hyperscaler infrastructure will follow a 2-step approach. The first step will involve SAP Ariba completing a data copy of information from current production environments into the new hyperscaler environment following the schedule noted below. The second step will involve SAP Ariba completing a seamless physical cutover of access to the new production environment. Any system availability impacts outside of standard maintenance windows will be communicated in advance of the down-time through standard maintenance notifications from SAP Ariba Operations.

Information for Suppliers on the Business Network |
|
| |

| |
On December 1, 2022 a notification was sent from the SAP Business Network team informing all users of a planned downtime scheduled February 4-5, 2023. This downtime is part of the SAP Next-Generation Cloud Delivery program which seeks to migrate the SAP Business Network infrastructure to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) public cloud environment. This planned move is being taken to support future Business Network growth, maximize security capabilities, and increase system reliability.
As a supplier engaged in business with our organization, in preparation for the planned downtime, you are encouraged to execute the following actions as soon as possible to help ensure continuity of business operations after the migration completes:
- As soon as possible, Business Network users, regardless of geography, should work with your internal Information Technology (IT) team to validate access to updated IP addresses for the GCP environment listed below.
- Failure to validate IP addresses may prevent users from accessing the environment mentioned and may prevent transactions from flowing between buyers and suppliers.
- All Business Network customers regardless of geography must plan to hold or stop all transaction efforts during the system downtime window planned for 9 AM PST February 4 through 9 AM PST February 5, 2023 (24 hours).
- Failure to hold or stop transactions may result in significant processing delays AFTER the downtime and may result in significant failed transaction notifications being sent to users.
Please take the time now, prior to the end of 2022, to address these topics and ensure continued execution of business after the February 2023 cutover.

Technical Addendum for the attention of IT and Network Technical Support: |
|

| |
If your organization utilizes IP blocking/allow listing in your IT environment, it is recommended the IP information noted for your region of the world be added to your allow listings. By doing so, you will ensure continued access to the SAP Ariba suite of products throughout the duration of the Next Generation Cloud Delivery program.
These additions to your IP allow listing should be added as soon as practical, but not later than your scheduled migration (above). Current IP addresses should remain in the allow list until you receive confirmation your applicable migration has been completed.
The related IP blocks will need to be added to your corporate allow-list, allowing for both inbound and outbound traffic, with immediate effect to prevent service disruption of users accessing SAP Ariba's Procurement Suite.
