SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network unable to process the inbound documents to ERP with Error: 403 Forbidden
SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network is unable to send the Order Confirmation, Invoice Details Request, Advance Ship Notice message to Cloud connector/ERP system. This issue might cause all documents to be failed or intermittent.
Error: org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPException: HTTP response '403: Forbidden' when communicating with http://<hostname>.ariba.com:443/sap/bc/srt/IDoc?sap-client=200
The common cause for the 403 error is due to incorrect cloud connector configuration for the SAP user in the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network connection page. The 403 error can also be caused by a Spool Overflow in the customer's ERP.
Follow the steps below:
- If all the messages are failed in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network check for the subaccounts configuration, maintain the correct P User, Location ID and Region Host for all the Production and the Test tenants. For more details on the subaccounts configuration see the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Certificate and Cloud connector changes.
- If some documents are failed and some or not then check if any one of the Subaccount is disconnected and you see the Certificate Expired Alert then renew the Cloud Connector Certificate in the Subaccount configuration.
- Clear the SMQ (qRFC Monitor transaction code) queues if there is a Spool Overflow in the customer's ERP.
