QuoteRequest (RFQ) documents created in S/4 HANA are failing in Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) with below error message:

Schema Validation failed for - 0000 - #TargetDocumenttype# _ Suggested Action : Please check the attachment for error details . For implementation guidelines please refer to corresponding specs at CIG Portal -> Resources -> Implementation Guides . For further assistance, please contact CIG Support with Error Code : CIG-PLT-00623

Follow the steps below to implement the customer exits for RFQ:

1. On ERP system, run transaction SPRO
2. Click SAP Reference IMG
3. Navigate to Integration with Other SAP Components > SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway > SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite Integration > Application Specific Settings > Request for Quotation (RFQ)
4. Click IMG - Activity button for Implement a Customer Exit for Request for Quotation

Create a new project. For example, ZMMIDOC:

1. Click Create
2. Click Enhancements assignments
3. Enter the user exit name MM06E001
4. Click Enter

Go back to Attributes of Enhancement Project ZMMIDOC screen:

1. Click Components
2. Double click EXIT_SAPLEINM_002 > INCLUDE ZXM06U02
3. Click Enter
4. Copy and paste the following code: INCLUDE arbcig_quote_request_002
5. Click Activate

Go back to Attributes of Enhancement Project ZMMIDOC screen:

1. Click Components
2. Double click EXIT_SAPLEINM_011 > INCLUDE ZXM06U33
3. Click Enter
4. Copy and paste the following code: INCLUDE arbcig_quote_request_011
5. Click Activate

Go back to Attributes of Enhancement Project ZMMIDOC screen and click Save.

Go back to Project Management of SAP Enhancements screen and click Activate project.

Maintain the necessary parameters for RFQ through the steps below:

1. On ERP system, run transaction SPRO
2. Click SAP Reference IMG
3. Navigate to Integration with Other SAP Components > SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway > SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite Integration > Application Specific Settings > Request for Quotation (RFQ)
4. Click IMG - Activity button for Maintain parameters for Request for Quotation
5. Click Modify > Insert Row
6. Maintain the parameters RFQ_EXTERNAL_NOTE (for both header-level and line-item level), RFQ_INTERAL_NOTE (for both header-level and line-item level) and RFQ_ENABLED (one row per parameter)
7. Click Save

The customer exits for RFQ are not implemented and the required parameters are not maintained in transaction SPRO.
