Issue

Duplicate POs are created in SAP ECC for the same PO reference number from Ariba. This leads to reconciliation issues between SAP ECC and Ariba.

Cause

If the /ARBA/BAPI_PO_CRT_ALLOW_DUPS parameter is set to true, the PO Create program in ECC does not check for duplicates.

Solution

Please check if this parameter is set to true in your system in /ARBA/TVARV table.
