Issue

Surrogate Bidder gets access to all the events of the supplier they are surrogate bidding for.

Cause

If the buyer surrogate bid for a suppliers event, they will be allowed to go to the dashboard of the supplier where they can see the other events that the supplier is participating or has already participated.
They can also see all the responses submitted by that supplier in open events, irrespective if it has a envelope or not.

Solution

Set parameter Application.AQS.RFX.SurrogateBidForSingleEventOnly to Yes in the buyer site.

This specifies whether surrogate bidder can access all events or only the event he initiated to surrogate bid from.
By default this is false, which means we allow surrogate bidder to access all events the supplier is invited to.

Additional Information

Thought the parameter Application.AQS.RFX.SurrogateBidForSingleEventOnly is set to Yes, users with Customer Administrator role will be able to see other events when surrogate bidding. As Customer Administrator role is a very powerful role this is an expected behavior. If the user should not have access to other events when surrogate bidding, then the user should not be a part of Customer Administrator group.

A Designated Support Contact (DSC) have to log a Case with Ariba Support to enable parameter Application.AQS.RFX.SurrogateBidForSingleEventOnly to Yes in the respective site.
