Some users might see an additional option appearing under Administration (Sourcing and Supplier Management) and Core Administration (Procurement and Invoicing) menus called Email Notification Manager.

In the SAP Ariba applications Feb 2017 release, additional system groups were granted access to this administration menu:

• Customer Administrator
• Customer User Admin
• Buyer Administrator

Previously, only Customer Support Admin had access to this administration menu. The change was made on request CF-7287 of SAP Ariba Product Management to give the customers increased control over their application.

This menu is used in the SAP Ariba downstream applications to manage notification preferences for various document types:

This menu appears in Sourcing and Supplier Management solutions but has no use in those solutions. Therefore, it is empty and can be generally ignored when using Sourcing and Supplier Management products.
