Why do I receive the error message System does not support unit of measure XXX while creating an RFQ(Request for Quotation)?

User might have passed a Unit Of Measure (UoM) which does not exist in SAP Ariba.

Example: If the user passes PCE as UoM (<UnitOfMeasure>PCE</UnitOfMeasure>) in Commerce eXtensible Markup Language (cXML)), and if PCE does not exist in SAP Ariba, the system produces an error in SAP Business Network for the respective RFQ.

To resolve this issue, user needs to either send the correct UoM that exists in Ariba or import the new UoM that is currently unavailable in Ariba by following the below steps:

1. Go to Manage > Administration.
2. Data Import/Export > Import Units Of Measure task.
3. Add the required UoM in the list.
