Symptom

How do I mass edit a project and project team members in projects or workspaces?


Resolution

You can mass update project team members in projects or workspaces using the Mass Edit Projects feature. Performing mass edits requires your user having the Project Mass Edit Administrator role.

Please use these steps:

  1. Click Manage > Administration > Project Manager > Mass Edit Projects.
  2. Select the Project Type required.
  3. Search for the required contracts or projects with appropriate filters.
  4. Select the projects, and click Add.
  5. Click Next twice to go to the Select Project Group Fields page.

You will then be brought to a page where you can choose the Project Group.

  1. Click on Project Groups to Update.
  2. Select the Project Group that needs changes, and click OK.
  3. Use any of the Update Types based on your requirement:
    • Replace - Remove the old member, and replace with the new member.
    • Add - Add a new member to the project group.
    • Delete - Delete a member from the project team.
  4. Select a user.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Summarize the changes, and click Update.

Once completed, check for the Mass Edit Project Status.
