How do I Delegate Authority to another user?
You can delegate your authority by following below steps.
- Click your name in the upper-right corner of the page
- Select Delegate Authority.
An administrator can set up delegation by following below path:
- Go to Manage > Administration (Core Administration on a suite-integrated site) > User Manager > Delegations
- You must be logged in as an individual user in order to Delegate Authority. It cannot be done while acting as a user.
- You cannot delegate one specific task or workspace, etc. You must delegate the entire user's approval authority to another person.
- In suite-integrated sites, delegation must be submitted through the Core Administration(Buyer). Functionality will no longer be available through Administration(Sourcing).
- In case of parent-child (FPC) realms, Delegate Authority is only visible under Preferences in the child site(s) and not in the parent site.
- Delegation works in the same way in Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP) as it works in other products.
