Other User Info (Partition User) for the user is not replicated/accounting details missing on child
Issue

Administrators are trying to create or update accounting details of a couple of users in parent realm using Import Users or Import User Data (consolidated File) tasks. The task is completed successfully. However, the accounting details of user is not getting updated accordingly in the child realm. The Other User Info (Partition User) for the user is not replicated, created, or updated.

Cause

In an FPC configuration, only the Enterprise User (Shared User) gets replicated from parent realm to child realm while the Other User Info (Partition User), maintained by the Import Users task, User.csv file, should be loaded directly in child realm. Since accounting details are maintained in partitioned user object, if you load the User.csv file in parent realm, it will not be replicated to child realm.

Solution

To resolve the issue, the administration must run the Import Users task directly in child realm.

Alternatively, administrators can choose to use the Import User Data (consolidated File) task to manage this data. However, they must ensure that enough time for replication of the shared user from parent to child has been allowed prior to the import. In the case replication of the shared user is incomplete, using the consolidated task on the child can generate unintended replication issues.
