First, disable the notifications in the event:

1. Monitor the sourcing event in Pending Selection.
2. Click Actions > Disable Automatic Event Notifications.

Next, lock the suppliers you do not want to view the event:

1. Go to the Suppliers tab.
2. Select all of the participants you do not want to access the re-opened event.
3. Click Lock/Unlock. The Locked column changes to Yes.

Lastly, reopen the event:

1. Actions > Reopen Event.
2. Set the length or specific time.
3. Click Ok.

If you do not have Event Administrator permission in the event contact the Ariba Customer Support team to have the Automatic Event Notifications disabled in the event.

Suppliers will not receive notifications from the event once Automatic Event Notifications is disabled.

The locked event disappears from the suppliers' dashboards.
