Symptom

Why are the Bids Report and Bids Summary Report links grayed out, after an event has moved to Pending Selection ?

Resolution

The event is not competitive. The setting Must participants improve their bids in the event template determines if an event is competitive or not. When set to Yes, this option allows the Bid Console to appear on the Event page and the bids report to be downloaded.

Additional Information

As a workaround for this, you can download the Event Summary Report:

  1. Go to the Content tab of your event
  2. Click the Report tab
  3. Click the table options menu in the upper-right of the page
  4. Select Export all Rows

If Must participants improve their bids is set to No but we are showing Ranks to the supplier then it will become a competitive event. Also, if this rule is set to No, but the Compete on Term is set to Price at the event template Definitions, these reports will be available.
