Request for Quote (RFQ) is not reaching SAP Ariba Sourcing.

RFQ or a QuoteRequest, sent from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is not reaching SAP Ariba Sourcing.

It is reaching SAP Business Network successfully but the status is Sent or Queued instead of Acknowledged.

Customer will need to configure the sourcing end point correctly to use POST method rather than pending queue method using these steps:

Enter a Case under SAP Ariba Sourcing and Platform/integration to confirm the SAP Business Network end point ID and Business End Points.

1. In AN, look for the same end point and edit it.
2. Set a value in the Profile URL (it should be in this format: https://s1.ariba.com/Sourcing/cxmlchannel/[ANID]
   (make sure to replace [ANID] with the customer's actual ANID).
3. Click Reset Profile.
4. Set the same URL from step 2 in the POST URL.
5. Check the box for:
   Yes, I want to receive documents through the POST method instead of through the cXML Get Pending method.
6. Click Save

Once the above is done, you can resend the RFQ via these steps:

1. If RFQ is in Sent status, click Orders > Requests for Quotation > Resend
2. If RFQ is already in Queued status, you need to reset the status of the RFQ back to Sent

You need to follow the steps below in order to reset the status back to Sent:

1. Open the RFQ and click History
2. Find the payload ID

Now you need to login to your SAP Business Network account and perform the following steps:

1. Click Search > Document
2. Enter the Payload ID and click Search
3. Set the Update Status To dropdown to Sent and click Update
4. Perform the steps mentioned above to resend the RFQ

If you look at the history of the RFQ in AN, there is an entry that says:

The document was added to the pending queue for download.

This means that the RFQ was not automatically sent (posted) to SAP Ariba Sourcing but was just added to the pending queue.

SAP Ariba Sourcing does not support pending queue download so all data needs to be posted for it to be sent successfully.
